A Dog For Kate (5.3.12 6pm – 9pm @ Mad River)
Join us during Happy Hour tomorrow, May 3rd at Mad River Bar & Grille as we raise money for a great cause. A Dog for Kate is an non-profit organization that raises money to donate diabetic alert dogs for children with Type 1 Diabetes. With the $5 donation entry fee, you will receive a free drink as well as selections from the 1/2 off menu. There will also be other discounted menu items as well as 50/50 drawings through out the event.
All drink tickets sold, tips received by bartenders, as well as the 50/50 drawings will go towards the goal of $2000 which will supply the deposit needed for 2 alert dogs for 2 local kids.

“A Breath of Fresh Air” #FAHHC #FreshAirHHC
“Fresh Air,” hosted by Baby J of Star 99.7, will be one of the many fundraisers in honor of Evans-Glisson. The concert will also feature DJ R Dot and performances by emcees from Georgia and South Carolina.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the concert will begin at 8 p.m. The event is open to ages 18 and up with a valid ID. Jimbo’s Rock Lounge is located at 1622 Savannah Highway in the Indigo Village Shopping Center. A $10 donation will be collected at the door.

Wiggin Out for Abby (February 18, 2012)
I have the opportunity to DJ for a great cause. I got an email from a friend telling me the story of her friend Abby Bunkley who was recently diagnosed with cancer (non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma) and that they were having an event to help raise money for medical expenses. The event will be held on February 18th at Midtown from 7-10PM. The entry fee is $35 per person which includes an open bar. 100% of donation will go to Bucks for Bunks, which will go directly to Abby’s medical bills. All donations are excepted.
